These people lured us into their store with the promise that everything was on sale for 40% off. Of course, that meant everything except the front-loading washer and dryer we went in to buy (since everything was 40% off). We had to pay extra for delivery, installation, and haul off of the perfectly good Whirpool washer and dryer that they undoubtedly got around $100 apiece for. Shortly thereafter we found out that we would have saved approximately 50% on these outrageously overpriced machines if we had gone to Loew's--and if we had waited another month we could have had our pick of good machines--like Whirlpool front loaders. So we got taken by not realizing that what was available was changing. Now, though, after several recalls and the machines never working properly, we have tried and tried to get them to come out and work on the washer--which has never worked properly. It basically doesn't work without a fight at all at this point. When we finally got someone to come out, he spent 30 minutes playing with the machine (empty) and then charged me $40 and told me he hadn't found anything wrong, but any time something acted up in the next 3 months we could call and he would come right back out and fix it if I could make it not work right. He also said he found a loose screw and took it out and threw it away. As soon as he left, we put a load in and the machine went right back to being broken. I called the next day (twice) and kept being told they would call me right back. It was almost a month later when I finally got the repairman (who was supposed to come to my house) to just call me. When he did, he announced that since it had been a month since we;d had any trouble, he couldn't be bothered to come out and look at the machine--he and his boss had just decided they would have to replace all of the electronics in the machine instead of finding out what was wrong with it--at a cost of $340 on top of what we had already spent. That's almost half of what we paid for a machine that was almost twice what it would have been had we not bought it from Maytag. So now, thanks to the thrown away screw, the machine is electronically handicapped and it also is so unbalanced that when it will spin it shudders and shakes so much that it walks acros the utility room on its own. These are horrible people. Do not buy anything from them.
